Blue is the coolest of the cool colors and is considered a hue that promotes restfulness, whether used in a subtle shade or deeper tone. Green, which is made from mixing blue and yellow is the warmest of the cool colors. Like blue, tints of green promote calm and it is often noted as the most natural color.
