A Bit Hard, Not the Safest for Rolling
"Tried it today. The material is a bit harder and smaller than I expected, but there’s no plastic smell, which is good. My baby recently learned to roll, and he tends to go head-first — he hit his head with a small thud twice and cried. He also loves scratching the grooves, so I’m not sure if they’ll get damaged over time. The product isn’t suitable for my baby. The website mentioned that it’s soft, but the actual material is much harder than described, so it doesn’t work well for a rolling baby. For this price, I expected it to be softer and safer."
Amazing for all ages!
"May have waited a bit too long to write a review! But it’s a good one! I’ve had a totter and tumble mat for 5 years now! I have 3 boys (11,8 and 5) and it still looks just like it did the day it arrived! We all love it! Great for babies, toddlers, kids and adults! They used to roll around on it, now they do puzzles and Lego! (Has also with stood, painting and craft time, pizza nights and adults spilling red wine! :woman-facepalming:) I use it for exercise and added bonus it looks fab in the room! It is one of the best ‘baby’ purchases we’ve ever made! I wish I’d had one with my older boys but if you’re not sure about one - get it! It lasts way past the baby years!"
Intense chemical smell - cannot use
"Beautiful mat, but the off-gassing smell is intense and awful. I purchased to avoid harsh chemicals, but the mat arrived with an intense chemical smell that has not dissipated after washing and airing out. It is unfortunate because I love everything else about it- but it is unusable because of the smell. I cannot and would not put my baby on it."

"Absolutely love this mat, after my daughter bought one for her home. I decided to invest in one. There is now no fear of my granddaughter hurting herself on the wooden floor as the mat is padded and of course all spills are quickly wiped up due to the lovely finish of the mats. My next rug will also be from you even though we probably won’t need to worry about spills and falls at that stage! I just love the quality 😍"

Should have bought sooner!
"LOVE this playmat, wish we’d bought it sooner!! It’s soft and well padded so little one doesn’t react at all when he topples over on it and the standard size gives him plenty of room to play. It looks amazing in our living room, we’ve had several spills on it and it’s wiped clean with no stains and we often comment on how great it is!"

- Hi, Are you mats suitable to use if you have dogs? ie if the fabric sturdy enough for a dog to walk over them without breaking the fabric? Also, do they work with under floor heating? Many thanks
- All the many Totter + Tumblers with pets, we have only heard very very few incidents. With dogs, it was two dogs fighting on a playmat and one left a scratch. With cats, it seems to be more down to the cat’s personality! Cats who scratch anything clearly you would expect to actively scratch the playmat, though most just pad across normally and with no issue. I'd highly advise a swatch so you can feel the quality for yourself!
- If you place furniture on the mats, will it leave a permanent dent? Have seen some photos with children's furniture (easels, mini tables etc) placed upon the mats - was wondering how it would fare against my coffee table. Thanks!
- Hello there! We advise keeping heavy furniture off the surface of the mats as it could leave long-lasting dents. Some people choose to take the risk, but we couldn't guarantee the memory foam would bounce back if you did. Hope that helps!
